Woman who went missing in Nairobi found alive

Hafsa Mohamed Luqman, a woman who has been missing for a week has been found alive.

According to police in Kayole, Nairobi, Hafsa’s video that showed her being tortured by her abductors was found alive, however the police did not reveal more details about her ordeal.

She has been taken to the DCI headquarters in Nairobi for interrogation.

News of her abduction come barely a week after another woman went missing in Mombasa and she was three days later found unconscious at the Mombasa Southern bypass in Miritini.

Though Najma Abdulahi Maalim, 19 was rushed to the Portreitz Sub county hospital in Changamwe, she succumbed to the severe injuries.

An autopsy conducted revealed that she was hit on the head with a blunt object that caused internal bleeding.

Najma’s body had several marks on the head, a sign she was brutalised by her abductors.

Police have since apprehended Faiza Ali Hassan, a woman who was last seen with Najma at Changamwe in Mombasa.

Police say Najma left home with the lady at Miritini to the Mombasa CBD where Faiza was to travel.

Later, Najma’s phone could not be traced, until she was found unconscious at the Southern bypass in Miritini.

The emergence of abduction cases has sent most parents countrywide into panic.

The cases are mostly witnessed in Nairobi and Mombasa cities.
