Mwashaco who sailed to the political scene from the co-operate sector has further urged parents to take total control of their children while at home in a bid to dissuade them from contracting the dangerous disease.
The Legislature said some parents have given their children total freedom while at home thus exposing them to the disease.
He urged parents to closely monitor their children engage them in small activities and ensure they enjoy some games too while at home.
“If we allow our children to go back to school play grounds, play football and engage in other social activities outside their homes, then there was no point of shuting down schools,” posed Mr. Mwashaco.
He appealed to parents to openly discuss with their children and update them on what is happening in the country so that they be in the know.
