Mvita legislature Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir has urged Mombasa county locals to avoid being divided into political and tribal inclinations.
Nassir said Mombasa being a cosmopolitan county that accommodates all tribes from all the corners of the nation and supporters of different political parties should never witness divisive 2022 political campaigns.
The Mvita legislature called on locals to focus more on the performers in the political arena and support them in pursuit of top political positions.
“We are all united but when general elections approaches, we gauge leaders on tribal divisions, these should cease, let’s elect dedicated leaders and not on tribe considerations,” reiterated Mr.Nassir.
