Msambweni by-election ODM candidate Omar Boga has rubbished claims from his close opponent that questions the presence of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho in the Msambweni contest.
Boga said Joho can visit Msambweni and live in Kwale county at any time he wishes to do so.
According to Boga, Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya and his Deputy Fatuma Achani should stop accusing the Mombasa governor and carry on with their campaigns.
He said he will invite Joho to campaign for him in Msambweni by-election any time since he needs nobody’s permission to do so.
Boga said such demarcations are unhealthy for a united community and region.
“Joho is the ODM Deputy party leader and can visit any region to foster the political party’s agenda,” noted Mr. Boga.

It is reported that Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya cautioned those flocking Msambweni to stop divisive politics.
According to Mvurya the county has maintained peace and people flocking the area are likely to branch peace and political stability in Kwale County.
Msambweni by-election is slated for December, 15.
This was orchestrated by the demise of Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori in March, 2020.
