Mombasa women leaders have blasted Kandara MP Alice Wahome for disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Likoni MP Mishi Mboko and Mombasa political activist Zamzam Mohammed have asked Wahome to respect President Kenyatta and Odinga for the leadership.
Mboko said Odinga and President Kenyatta chose to come together for the sake of the country, therefore their ‘handshake’ cannot just be seen as a tool for their own selfish gains.
Wahome had claimed that President Kenyatta and Odinga are planning to use the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report as a ‘political mercenary’ to disregard the Constitution and cling onto power in 2022.

This did not go down well with most leaders in the country.
Mboko said Wahome is a disgrace to the women leaders in the country.
“You cannot call Odinga a political mercenary. She should be very shameful of her remarks,” she said.
Zamzam said they are aware that Wahome is being funded by certain politicians in the country to try and derail the BBI.
“I want to tell my sister Wahome, to shut her mouth while eating, she said.
