Can the allegations raised by Machakos Governor Doctor Alfred Mutua over threats he received for not supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 Presidential bid substantiated?
On Monday Mutua alleged that Ruto, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale have been threatening him.
Mutua who already recorded statement at the Kilimani Police station in Nairobi urged police to beef up his security.
Living in fear
“My life is in danger I have been warned twice right at state house,” he added.
He said he was threatened when President Uhuru Kenyatta was receiving the BBI report at state house in Nairobi.
However, Duale and Murkomen have denied the allegations distancing themselves from Dr. Mutua alleges.
“Mutua is starting another ‘Cobra squad’ production, he has badly failed in his Machakos County,” noted Murkomen.
Mutua is alleging to have been threatened twice at state house Nairobi when Uhuru was receiving the Building Bridged Initiative report.
