Nyali MP Mohammed Ali has once again rubbished the Constitution Amendment Bill 2020 famously known as Building Bridges Initiative-BBI, saying it has nothing to offer to Kenyans.
Ali said the constitution amendments proposal aims at overburdening Kenyans with an extremely blotted National assembly, the Senate, and other leadership posts.
He said there is no business in uniting Kenyans within the BBI document but instead creating more problems on an already economically challenged nation.
“Things are not adding up here, they have realized that Kenyans are against their initiative that’s why they are employing some political gimmicks of bribing Members of County Assemblies,” noted Mr. Ali.
He cautioned the MCA’s not to be duped into the BBI issues at the expense of Kenyans.

“You have a lot of money to waste by giving MCA’s 2 million shillings each so that they pass the BBI bills at the county level if that’s the game then give each Kenyan 4 million shillings so that they also vote yes,” said Ali.
The MP urged Coastal people and Kenyans at large to ignore the initiative saying it will suppress them economically.
Ali, a strong supporter of the Deputy President William Ruto hosted the DP in his Nyali constituency on Sunday.

He said Kenyans do not need any constitutional amendment at the moment but a revamp of the country’s economy.
He urged Coastal people and Kenyans to jealously defend the constitution and shun those forcefully fighting for amendments.
The Lawmaker gnashed ODM leader Raila Odinga for propagating what he clearly understands will not transform Kenyans lives.
