President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again rubbished the ‘Dynasty’ versus Hustlers Nation politics.
President Kenyatta cautioned youth against being misled to political rhetoric that may end up inciting them.
Addressing youth at the Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County on Sunday, Uhuru said he is trying his level best to unite the country urging the youth to unite and detter from divisive politics.
He said the youth remain critical to the nation’s unity.
The Head of state appealed to the youth to stop being politically divided but instead support the country’s unity journey.
“Let’s work together in uniting the nation through the Building Bridges Initiative,”noted President Uhuru.
He said the journey to unite Kenyans need the youth input, for it to succeed.
He reiterated the importance of unity among Kenyans as the country heads to the general election.
“However, it is still too early for 2022 politics we should venture into working for Kenyans,” he said.
The youth present promised to work with president Uhuru and support him so that his dream of leaving a united country through the BBI is realised.
They vowed to fully back the BBI so that the initiative benefits all Kenyans.
Recently BBI has received strong opposition from Kenyans.
The Deputy President William Ruto has expressed a divergent view over BBI.
Ruto questioned the implementation of the initiative saying it lacks what Kenyans need to uplift their lives.
“You are talking of increasing county allocation to 35% up from 15 percent, where will you get the money from,?” Posed the DP.
