Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has dropped her plans to sue Kennedy Ombima famously known as ‘King Kaka’ over his daring lyrics ‘Wajinga nyinyi’ which can be loosely translated to ‘You fools’
Waiguru says she will not pursue any defamation suit against the renowned Kenyan rapper and Spoken word artist over some lyrics in the songs that according to her lawyers they depicted Waiguru as a corrupt leader who lacked integrity.
She however says she will pursue those she believes are behind King Kaka in a bid to distabilise her political career.i
“I have decided not to sue the confused attention seeker King Kaka,” she said.
Meanwhile controversial Neno Evangelism Centre leader James Ng’ang’a has shocked Kenyans after calling King Kaka’s mother his girlfriend.

“Tell that Kani Kaka or King Kaka that his mother is my girlfriend, he should talk to his fellow touts and not a ‘General’ like me,” said the Man of God.
However, Unbowed King Kaka with strong support from Kenyans among them Human rights defenders, fellow artists, lawyers and a section of political leaders stood his ground saying he is never apologetic.
“The strong reactions from Kenyans simple means that they are suffering silently, Kenyans are singing a silent song that I took the bold step to put everything in black and white,” said the top Kenyan Spoken word artist and local rapper.

King Kaka has as well received support from East Africa fellow artist for his strong lyrics ‘Wajinga nyinyi’ that has attracted over 2.1 million views of YouTube in less that a week.
