South African Premier Soccer league log leaders Kaizer Chiefs has completed the signing of a Kenyan midfielder Antony Agay Akumu on a free transfer.
Akumu, 27 and central midfielder has been signed by the club after Zambian giants Zesco United released him at the beginning of the year.
Akumu who joined Zesco in January 1st, 2016 played a total of 33 matches.
The Kenyan star is expected to fill in the gap left by Ghanaian defensive midfielder James Kotei in his new club.
Nevertheless, Akumu will compete with the likes of George Maluleka and Willard Katsande.
The man who also played for Kenyan top side Gormahia, scored 0 goals in all competitions while playing wearing a Zesco shirt.
