Coastal based team playing in the Kenya Premier League Bandari fc has called on players from local clubs across the country to attend football trials for the club slated for this month.
Through their team Manager Wilson Obungu, the club said its looking for ambitious and determined players who make the cut in their squad come next season.
Given the good run that they had last season, the team management is eyeing to restructure and revamp the squad hoping to leave a mark in the coming season.
According to the team Technical Director Edward Oduor, the club trials are to be conducted from 26th to 28th this month.
“we are aiming at signing potential players who will strengthen the team ahead of the 2018-2019 season before the transfer window closes,” said Edward.
He further added that the exercise is a free and fair for all, giving equal opportunity to players to showcase their prowess in matters of the field.
Sources indicated that the trials will be spearheaded by the Clubs’ technical crew along side former Harambee Stars and Bandari coach Twahir Muhiddin and Bandari goalkeeper trainer Razak Siwa who will take charge in the selection.
The Dockers are expected to jet off to Zanzibar for a four day preseason tour before commencing the new season in December.
Bandari finished second in the in the recently concluded Kenya premier league season with 62 points,13 points behind the KPL champions Gor Mahia who finished at the top of the table with 75 points.
