KRU owes a transport company Ami travels sh. 4 million after the company organised bookings when Kenya 15s was facing Spain.
The union admitted that it was in a serious financial crisis and there was nothing they could do.

“We do not deny the fact that we are in a serious financial crisis, but there is nothing we can do,” she said.
The Kenya sports sector is currently facing financial crisis especially after the exit of major betting companies among the Sportpesa and Betin which played major sponsorship roles in the country’s sporting activities.
