In our entertainment platform, we once published an article about Sauti ya Pwani FM Being a radio station to watch and indeed it is slowly eating on the audience other stations in the region are enjoying.
Japheth Kahindi famously known as Makanaki is known to be an experienced sports journalist not only at the Coast but countrywide.
He is the sports Presenter and editor at Sauti ya Pwani FM, a newly Coast based radio station that seems to be seriously targeting the already existing radio stations.
Only radio journalist
Makanaki is the only sports journalist from coast based radio stations, who joins the other 45 journalists worldwide in covering the martial arts competition slated for this week in Chungju, South Korea.
The team was handed over the National flag by President Uhuru Kenyatta last week at the statehouse, Nairobi.

Makanaki has set his sports record high that none of the Coast sports journalists has beaten it.
“There is nothing new about covering international competitions, I have been in the UK, I have covered sports in South Africa when I worked for ‘Super sports’ TV Channel,” revealed Makanaki.
He said he always gives his best to any duty assigned to him by his station.
“I have not engaged myself in multi-tasking, I pursue sports and perfect every step of my career,” he noted.
At Sauti ya Pwani FM, Makanaki presents sports news and also host authoritative and informative sports show Mchakamchaka together with talented sport Presenter Hajj Kibwanga.
