Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali has criticised his political opponents over ongoing allegations that he has been arrested.
Ali says he is at home with his family and not under arrest as claimed by some people.
He said he is free executing his mandate as the Nyali Legislature.
According to the Lawmaker he has nothing to fear as whatever he is doing is the will of the Coastal residents.
He said he will fearlessly guard the Coast resources despite receiving strong criticism and opposition from the Coast region leaders.
The youthful Nyali Legislature scoffed at his Coast counterparts for ignoring the plights of the Coast people.
“I only believe and fear my Creator, I was elected to serve the Coastal people and that is exactly what I am currently doing,” said Ali.
He urged locals to support his push in securing the Coast economy.
“It is evident that my efforts to protect the Coast economy have received major opposition from right at the backyard, however I will not relent,” he said.
Recently the Mombasa youthful leader took some Mombasa politicians head on after they ignored Ali’s efforts to ouster Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia.
Ali termed the leaders as greedy and who have benefited from various lucrative deals at the port of Mombasa, a reason why they have distanced themselves from the efforts.
According to Ali the leaders have remained silent watching the Mombasa port being privatised and transfered to Nairobi and Naivasha.
However the leaders among them Mvita Member of Parliament Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir have accused Ali for engaging in unnecessary political battles.
“I am maliciously accused, I do not own any port tender as claimed by Ali,” said Nassir.
